You can select suitable rubber materials for waterproof seals and O-rings based on the characteristics of the rubber.

a. NBR
Nitrile rubber has excellent oil resistance, good abrasion resistance, good heat resistance, and strong adhesion. Its disadvantages are poor low-temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, poor electrical properties, and slightly lower elasticity.

b. EPDM
Resistant to heat, light, oxygen, and especially ozone.

c. Silicone Rubber
Silicone rubber performs better than general-purpose rubber at high temperatures of 150°C and low temperatures of -40°C, maintaining good adaptability under extreme temperatures and pressures.

d. Fluoro Rubber
Fluoro rubber has excellent heat resistance, oxidation resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance, and atmospheric aging resistance. Its oil resistance is superior to NBR and is currently widely used in explosion-proof fields.

e. Neoprene
Neoprene has good physical and mechanical properties, oil resistance, heat resistance, flame resistance, sunlight resistance, ozone resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and chemical reagent resistance. It can be used long-term at 80~100°C and has some flame retardancy. Its oil resistance is second only to nitrile rubber.
